About Susan
I work with individuals, kids, teens, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, family conflict, and life transitions. My goal is to create a calm, supportive space where you feel understood while we work together toward meaningful change.

I am trained in EMDR, a therapy that helps the brain process difficult experiences and reduce the emotional impact of past trauma and relationship injuries. Many clients find this approach helpful when past experiences continue to affect their relationships, confidence, or ability to move forward.

Before becoming a therapist, I was an elementary school teacher. That experience, along with raising four children, gave me a deep appreciation for how early relationships shape the way we see ourselves and others. It continues to influence the way I support both adults and families today.

My approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate. I believe people grow when they feel safe, supported, and truly heard.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing tennis and pickleball, swimming in the ocean, and cheering on the Dodgers!
